All you need to know about Risk Management Certifications - M_o_R Practitioner

Due to increasing interest in various fields of business, the risk management courses have been introduced in various colleges. This course will help in the enhancement of a person’s skills. Here we will talk about different levels of certification provided by this course.


M_o_R and its different levels of certification

There are two different levels of risk management certifications -
  • Foundation examination
  • Practitioner examination

Foundation examination

The aim of this examination is to test the skills and knowledge of the candidate. It also helps in determining the candidate’s view and assessment of the risks. It tests the ability of the candidate to identify the risk and manage them accordingly. It can be pursued by the following -
  • Risk managers
  • Project managers
  • Operational staff
  • Business change managers etc.
The exam format includes 75 questions that are multiple choice. The duration of the exam is an hour and 35 questions need to be correct to pass.

Practitioner Examination

The M_o_R practitioner exam is to sustain that the candidate is properly trained to apply all the skills he/she has learned. A candidate must be able to apply the M_o_R approach properly and manage risks.
This examination is for the candidates who have been working in the corporate field which involves identifying, assessing, and organising the risks. There are 4 objective type questions which are 20 marks each.  40 marks are required in order to pass.

Re-registration examination is for the M_o_R practitioner. They are required to attempt this additional examination within or during 3 to 5 years of the certification. This helps you to grow in the corporate field with personal development.
