RESILIA Cyber Resilience – Protect Your Business from Attack

What Certifications are Available?

There are 2 certifications that are available. RESILIA Foundation Level and RESILIA Practitioner level.

These certifications are designed to enable staff to protect against online attack by using existing IT controls and processes. There are training companies that are been accredited by AXELOS to provide these certifications.

RESILIA Foundation Level

Aimed at professionals with IT responsibilities, this is a three day/ 20 hour course to assist staff in understanding the impact operational decisions have on cyber resilience. This foundation level course also helps to show how good cyber resilience supports operational effectiveness. The comprehensive course covers all areas and aims to ensure staff make cyber resilience part of their day-to-day operational management. The exam for this course consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, sat over 100 minutes.

RESILIA Practitioner Level

This is an additional two day/ 15 hour course designed to equip staff with practical skills. While this is aimed at IT professionals, other business functions such as HR, finance, operations and marketing will benefit from the knowledge imparted. The purpose of this course is to give staff the knowledge to understand what cyber resilience looks like, and issues that can affect levels of resilience. There is a way to obtain balance between risk and costs, while still maintaining flexibility within an organisation. The exam for this course is 50 questions in a question-and-answer format, to be completed in 135 minutes.

Both courses can be completed online, or can be arranged on site at your organisation. The RESILIA online course is flexible to suit the needs of fast-moving businesses.

Scrum Project Management System and the Scrum Master Role

The Scrum system sits under the Agile project management system. Used worldwide, although primarily in IT, this form of project management can be effectively utilised across many industries. Having a trained Scrum Master will help to ensure projects that an organisation run have excellent communication, and finish on time, on budget, and to specification. An important part of Scrum are the roles for Masters, Product Owners, and Team members, and the success of Scrum is dependent on these roles being defined and adhered to.

What is the Scrum Master Course?

The Scrum Master course overviews Agile methods and principles, and how Scrum works within that framework. The roles within Scrum are discussed, with a strong emphasis on the Master role. The project phases of Scrum from initiation to release with insight into how the Master role fits in the phases. Finally, how to successfully transition from other systems to Scrum while maintaining executive and stakeholder support.

The course can be run over two days in any of our world-wide locations, on the organisation’s site, or virtual tutor-led online.  There are no pre-requisites for this course but the Scrum Developer Certification is preferable.

The course ends with the Scrum Master exam, which has 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed within two hours.

On completion of the Scrum Master exam, the Scrum Master must earn 40 re-certification credits every two years to maintain their status.
