Prince2 Re-Registration; how learning, developing and enhancing skills continues!

You’ve passed the Practitioner exam with flying colours and you begin your career as a Prince2 Practitioner but suddenly half a decade down the line, your registration status has been withdrawn and you were unaware! Well, you think ‘suddenly’ but that is surely not the case! What’s happened here is that you forgot Re-Register yourself as a Prince2 Practitioner!

Don’t scratch your head like that! There is a Prince2 Re-Registration process that every practitioner has to undertake. This examination has specifically been created aiming at those who have cleared the Prince2 examination and want to maintain their status as a registered practitioner. Sounds like a doctor to you? It certainly isn’t but opting to pursue this examination within three to five years of passing your practitioner examination will only aid you in continuing towards the upward streak of your career. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in your Prince2 Practitioner status being cancelled.

Here’s what you have to do continue your career, uninterrupted as a Project Manager:

• You need to prepare for this exam
• Its suppose to be undertaken within 3-5 years of passing the practitioner exam
• A minimum 55% marks required to clear the examination

Training institutes in the UK make sure that candidates who have appeared for the practitioner examination are informed well in advance about the process of re-registration. And yet if a Project Manager forgets to do the same, then he risks losing his status of a registered practitioner. It’s a simple exam & is advisable to clear it at the earliest.
